An Islamic View Of Peaceful Co-existence With The Jews, Christians, & All faiths

*) What kind of relation ISLAM wants us to maintain with 

     the non-muslims for the maintainence of Peace in this 

     world.

*) ISLAM wants to establish peace All over the world and 

     wants a peaceful society , gud-interaction,peaceful

    co-existence.

*) The basic things in the olden days and now in everywhere in some muslim 
    countries where non-muslims are living in minorities.Islam has given even
    teaching for them for the Muslims,not only for the government of Muslims,
    even for common people where non-muslims are living with them.

*) All other westerns countries where Muslims are living as minorities,wherever
    the non-muslims living as citizens,so what kind of interaction or behaviour is
    required by ISLAM for the Muslims to adopt.First of all.


*)Quran Says:- "Man Qatala muahadan lam yareh rahiatal Jannah"

    *)Hadees:- Anyone who kill Non-muslims citizens that muslim will never smell 
                       the fragrance of Paradise.

*) This Hadees is reported by Abdullah ibn-e-Omar Razi Allah anhu and narrated
     by Imam Bukhari Rehmatullah alaih in "Kitab-us-Sahih" and Imam Muslim in
     "As-Sahih".It's Muttaqaf alaih Hadees


*) Holy Prophet Muhammad Sallal Lahu alaihi Wasallam said in another occasion:-
 
           *) Hadees:-  "Haramal-lahu alaiyyal Jannah"
  
  >> Almighty Allah will make paradise forbidden for them.A person who kills any
        non-muslims citizens who is non-combatent ,who is not combating with u.
        Jannah(heaven) would be forbidden those who kill non-Muslim innocent 
        civilian.   
     
>> In a warfare Holy Prophet(peace be upon him) saw a woman she was slain.This
      HADEES is reported by abdullah bin Omar.

*) Holy Prophet(Peace be upon you) asked who has killed this woman?nobody 
    took the responsibility.


>>Prophet(Peace be upon him) Said:-

                            " fanaha Rasool Allah am qatlin-Nisae wa sibyaan"

                     " (Killing of Woman even during warfare is forbidden in Islam)"



*) Narrated by Sahih Muslim:-

>> Prophet(Peace be upon him) Said:- " Fala taqtalus sibyaan"

                        " (Killing of childrens is forbidden) "



>> During even a lawful warfare killing of  childrens is forbidden for Muslims.



>> Prophet(peace be upon him) Stated:- 
          
         " La taqtulus shaikhan faaniyan wala tiflan wala sagheenan walam ra-aatan"

                  (Do not kil any feeble old man or any infant or young child or woman).


*) Again this Hadees is reported by Imam abu dawood and narrated by Anas 
    ibn-e-malik Razi Allah anhu.This was the standard given by 
    Holy prophet(peace be upon him).


>> Prophet(peace be upon him) stated :-
                                     
                1)    " Wa la ashabas sawameh,la taqtulu ashabas sawameh"
 
                2)   "  Alala yuqtalu rahebu fis sawmiah"

 *)   Even during warfare when a proper lawful battle going on do not kill those 
       who tends to the monastries ,do not kill the monks and priests.it is 
       forbidden in Islam.
        
 *) Abdullah ibn-e-Masood reports and Imam ibn-e-abi shaiba has narrated the
     Hadees.He Said.


>> Holy Prophet(peace be upon him) said:- 

                          >>    " Watta qullaha fil fallaheen"
                  
                                    ( do Not kill the farmers)


*) You cannot kill the farmers.They are the person who provide economy to the
     society.Merchants ,traders too.


*) Imam Ibn-e-Abi shaiba Narrates and Zaid bin wahab stated that Sayyedina Omar
    Razi Allah Anhu used to write the letters to the soldiers and the commanders 
    of the armies,regarding this " Ittaqullaha fil fallaheen fala taqtu luhu"


*) Farmers should not be killed in war if it is known that they are non-combatent.
    So basic principle has been laid down that no Muslims can kill any woman,
    childrens,old persons,farmers,diplomat,ambassdors,trader  who are 
    non-combatent during even legal warfare.

*) Injured person or prisoners should not be killed and the one who flees should
    not be pursuit because he showed his unwillingnes to fight.He is not allowed
    to be killed.


>> Just Imagine the situation when the Holy Prophet(peace be upon him) after
      8 years of immigration.He Entered Makkah as a successful leader and 
     Makkah was captured and the people of Makkah they were those who 
     imposing wars on Holy Prophet(Peace be upon him) and Madina every year 
     and every single war which is fought by prophet Muhammad Sallal lahu alaihi
    wa sallam and his companions that was the war of defence.


>> If we study the seerah(life) of prophet(Peace be upon him) none of the war 
      which he fought never initiated by him,that was the war of defence

1st war:- fought near city of Madina,Badr

2nd war :- uhad, at the border of Madina.


*) Every single war fought by the Prophet(Peace be upon him) was forced to
    enter into .He was never an initiator.He had to response as a war of
    self-defence.


*) When he entered Makkah thr was no bloodshed.Those people of Makkah 
    who always torture and never allowed to have a peaceful life to 
    Prophet(peace be upon him) got afraid.They thought this is the day of
    revenge for Muslims.

>> Holy Prophet(peace be upon him) declared:-

    " man daqala daara abi sufyana fawa aamenun,waman alkas sala faha aamenun
       wa man aghlaqa baabahu fahuwa aamenun"



*) The above hadees is quoted by abu huraira razi Allah anhu and quoted by 
     Imam Muslim in " As-Sahih"


>> Holy Prophet(peace be upon him) said:- Whoever enter the house of 
                                    ABU SUFYAN is safe.


*) Abu sufyan was the biggest enemy of Holy prophet(peace be upon him) who
    was the leaders of Makkans always impose war on Madina.Holy prophet
    choose the house of his biggest enemy of ISLAM and said whoever took the
    shelter even in abu sufyan house is safe and secure. who are laid down thr
    weapons giving a message of peace they are safe and secure.whoever shuts
    his door giving the message he is not ready to fight is safe and secure


>> Holy prophet(peace be upon him) said;-
     
                " La Tasreeba alaikumul yaum,izhabu fahantumut tulaka"

           " (today nobody going to take any revenge all enemies are forgiven)"

*) This was the offical announcement of Prophet Sallal lahu alaihi wa sallam on
     the victory of makkah.
    

Love Of Holy Prophet Rasool Allah

                Some people think the whole of Deen is Just Amal, the whole deen lies in just act and deeds,Amal is something Love is different thing

          Amal becomes pious Act if it comes out of Love.

*) Love is something related to Niyyah(intentions),

*) Love is Something related to the state of Heart.

*) Love is something which is engrained in your heart and Souls

         Love is not a visible object or visible entity.But Acts are

         visible entities.

*) Good acts,Pious acts,acts of submissions,acts of obedience

     acts of worship they are needed to perfection and

     completion of Love.

     .If you are not obedient to Allah and Rasool Allah   

      Commandments .If you are not following the Sunnah of

      Prophet Sallal Lahu alaihi Wa Sallam it means your

      Imaan is incomplete.  But it's still there.

     Non-existing and incomplete existence thr is difference
     between the two anything incomplete does not mean 
     Non-existing


*)          Some people say ironically and in negative sense
    we also love Holy Prophet but YOU people exceed the
    limits. Let us decide the matter through Holy Quran
    Does Allah wants love within limits or exceeding limits??
    which level of LOve is required?

            Quran says,in surah-Taubah,verse-24

                
 *)  Khul in kaana aaba-ukum  (Your Parents)
  
 *)  Wa Abna-ukum                   (Your childrens)
 
 *)    Wa Iqwa-Nukum                 (Your Brothers and sisters)
  
 *)  Wa azwa-jukum                   (Your wives and families)
  
 *)  Wa ashera-tukum                (All of your relatives)
   
 *)  Wa Amwa-lunn                    ( your Wealth & Money)
  
 *)  Uq Taraf-tu Muha               ( All of ur trade, business,
        Wa Tijaratun                    industry)

*)  Taqshauna kasadaha           (Which u always worry about
                                                  Loss and profit)

 *) Wa Masakeenu                    ( All of your houses & beautiful
                                                  bangalows)

*) Tarzaunaha                          ( You Love them more than )
    Ahabba ilaikum Minal          Allah And his Rasool)
    Lahi Wa Rasooli,,
   

          For Imaan the relavent concept is AhhabBiyya not
   only Muhabba....Ahhabbiya and ahabba this are the tense
   of Mubalagah.

                    Some people say you cross the limit and do mubalagah in love of Holy Prophet some people criticise so 
i would ask those brothers whether your critisim comes on
US or ALLAH??

       Allah saying i dont want you to  love me and prophet only.
 Allah Want Love for him and his Prophet should exceed all
 limits of LOVES.

*) Allah mentioned all dimention,Limits,objects and 
    directions of Love

"Aaba Ukum"           1st is one limit of Love

"Abna Ukum"           2nd  is other limit of love

"Iqwa Nukum"         3rd limit of Love

"Azwa Jukum"         4th limit of Love

"Ashera tukum"      5th limit of Love

" Amwa-Lun"          6th limit of Love

"Tijaratun & 
  Masakeenu            7th & 8th Limit of Love

*) After mentioning above limits Allah mentioned :-
  
  " Ahabba ilaikum Mi Nal lahi Wa Rasooli, Wa Jihadi
     Fe Sabilihi" 

              Love of Allah, Love of Rasool Allah, Love for Deen
     should exceed all this limits...

                So the Love ALlah and Rasool Allah requires
     is Exceeding Love which exceeds the limits.If the Love 
     remains the limits thn its not acceptable to Allah.

                This is what had been declared by Almighty
    Allah and Holy Prophet Sallal Lahu alaihi Wa sallam
    and reported by Imam Bukhari.



*) Allah Says in the Quran:-

    "AnNabiyyu Awla bil Momineena min anfusi him"
      (Prophet is more beloved for the momeen more than
        thr lifes)


*) Hadees of Love:- jamay As Sahi Al Bukhari lil bukhari
                                  Hadees.no-6632

 " Ya Rasool Allah Khala Umar Linnabi anta ahabbu ilayya
     min kulli shai-in illa min nafsi" 
    ( Ya Rasool Allah i love you more than anything except
       my life)
   
        
     Holy Prophet Sallal lahu Alaihi Wa Sallam was walking
      holding hand of Omar Razi Allah anhu they both are  
      walking together. Omar Razi Allah Anhu 
      Said he love prophet less than his own life.
                 
     *)  Then Prophet Replied :-
     
   " Laa! Ya Omar"hatta akuuna ahabba ilaika min nafsik"
          ( Omar your (Imaan) is not completed,unless my love                   exceed the love of your own life)

                  *)  When Prophet uttered these words .This changed
      the state and fate of Omar Razi Allah Anhu Heart.
      
*) Immediately Omar Razi Allah Anhu replied:-
   
"Wa Qaala Omar,Wallah Anta al Aaan Ahabbu ilaiyya 
  Min Nafsi"
  (By Allah,Now i Love you much More than my own Life)

         When These words Omar Razi Allah anhu uttered.

*) Prophet sallal lahu alaihi wa sallam replied:-

    " Al Aan Ya Omar"
      ( Now Your Imaan become perfect O! Omar)

*> This Above  Hadees Narrated by Imam Bukhari 
  
*)  putting All standards of Quran and Hadees.
     Speak of the same Reality


                             Most Mothers The Love for thr kids and 
childrens exceed the limit of all Loves.They can give thr own life for thr Childrens.

          There may b some persons in this world when a time
comes they are drowning in the sea and the boat is broken
and they are in the hands of the waves.Now only one can b
saved either Mother or the Father or the Son.

                        Think about that situation people may leave
 thr  son to save thr own Life.So this is the end of the Love.
 We will make another Son :).Atleast we should b alive :)
We will get one son more.This is another Possibility of 
 thinking.So the love for life in this possibility is the highest
 level of Love.

*) So the Love for Holy Prophet should b more than our
    or anything in life.


*) So this was the question of "Al Ahabbiyyah"
     
*) Love is the state of Heart not the act of the body.
    
  >>  Love can be tested.
  >>  Love can be evaluated.
  >>  Love can be appreciated,felt and known 
         through certain acts of the body,acts of
        body can b the signs of Love.
                   
               But the acts are not the Love in itself :)

*) Love Hidden in the heart.But it is exposed through
     various acts.May b acts of eyes,expression of face,deeds
     it can be felt ,it can be exposed but the one which is 
     being exposed is something different than the acts
     which are exposing its existence.

                  
                That is why we differentiate between acts
    and deeds religious acts and deeds of worship and
    acts and deeds of commision and obedience and 
    between the Love . 

                                   
                                   Acts are signs of perfection 
    through acts Love get perfected or completed.

                  
                
*) But if our Heart is empty from the Love of
    Prophet Sallal Lahu alaihi wa sallam.
  


*) Because Love is an emotions,sentiments,
    state of Heart and spirit.

                      
                  
                   It is not act in itself.It is rest in Batin 
     and acts are exposed through zahir by Amaal.
     So Amal is a sign of Love.Amal in itself is not
     Love.

                
           
                      
                       If thr is no Amal no ita-ah or u can say a man 
  is weak in amal but still posses the Loves of Allah and
  Holy Prophet he would b regarded as Momin inspite
  of weakness in Amaal you cannot declare him kafir or
  munafiq except "An nifaqul Amali"(weak in amal).

              
           

*) But a posseser of love of Holy Prophet in his
    Heart  will remain him Momin and the reality
    which has been explained in Sahih Bukhari 
    and Muslim.

                    

*) That reality is that a man which is full of Amaal 
    stands in tahajjud ,,keep fasting in whole life,
    perform haj every year ,does thousands of 
    umrah and tawaf,perform acts of charity, 
    takes care of Halal and haram, fulfil the ibadat
    and muamulat,keep beard,wears a 
    turban,having islamic dress or hijab ,


*) Apparently if a person fulfil all external needs
    of ahkaam or Shariah.and he is a worshipper 
    but unfortunately his Heart is empty from the 
    wine of Love.He never drunk a drop from the
    ocean of Love.Who never took a wine of Love.
   



*)    But posses all external acts and deeds of 
       shariah that man is MUNAFIQ that person 
       never be considered as MOMEEN
